• Composition: Each mL contains 3 mg of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride.
• Common Indications: Bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, and corneal abrasions/infections caused by susceptible organisms.
• Dosage & Administration: Typically, 12 drops are applied to the affected eye(s) 4 times a day, though more frequent dosing (every 15 minutes to 2 hours) may be required for severe infections (e.g., corneal ulcers).
• Warnings:
  • Not for injection: Never inject directly into the eye.
  • Contact Lenses: Avoid wearing contact lenses while treating a bacterial infection.
  • Side Effects: Potential for temporary blurred vision, eye discomfort, stinging, burning, or redness upon application.
  • Duration: Complete the full course, even if symptoms disappear.
• Storage: Store at room temperature, protected from light, and discard 28 days after opening
