Key Details

Composition: Each mL contains 3 mg of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride.
Common Indications: Bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, and corneal abrasions/infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Dosage & Administration: Typically, 12 drops are applied to the affected eye(s) 4 times a day, though more frequent dosing (every 15 minutes to 2 hours) may be required for severe infections (e.g., corneal ulcers).
Warnings:
- Not for injection: Never inject directly into the eye.
- Contact Lenses: Avoid wearing contact lenses while treating a bacterial infection.
